We Did Not Choose This Path. We Chose What To Do With It.

Our foundation did not begin with a business plan or a funding proposal. It began with grief.

In 2026, our family experienced a loss that no family should ever face. Keckan Rubaba gave birth to twin boys. One of them was Collins. Collins lived for one year loved completely, by everyone who held him. And then he was gone.

In that silence, we had a choice: to stay broken, or to build something.

We chose to build.

We are not a charity run by people who read about poverty in Tanzania from somewhere else. We are Tanzanians. We grew up in these communities. We know which families are struggling and why. We know which programs actually work and which ones disappear after the first photo opportunity.

That closeness is our most valuable asset. It means every shilling we raise goes further than it would in the hands of an organization working from a distance.

We focus on women and children because they are the most vulnerable members of our communities — and because when you stabilize a woman and protect a child, you stabilize an entire family. When you stabilize enough families, you change a community.

We are small. We are growing. We are honest about both. And we are not going anywhere.

Our First Steps

We Started Where The Need Was Loudest In The Hospital.

.Before we had a website, before we had a formal program, before anyone knew our name we were already in Mwanza, walking the wards of the maternity hospital with our arms full.

New mothers in Tanzania’s public hospitals often arrive with nothing. No baby clothes. No nappies. No food for themselves after giving birth. No support from family if family is far away or has nothing to give.

We went there. We brought what we could supplies for newborns, food for the mothers, the simple dignity of someone showing up and saying: you are not alone in this.

It was not a large program. It did not have a name yet. But the mothers we sat with in those wards are the reason this foundation exists in the shape it does today.

Our mission is to empower women and children in Tanzania through direct, sustained support — in education, food security, healthcare, and daily protection — delivered by people who know these communities from the inside.

We focus on transparency and proximity. Every contribution is tracked. Every project we support is personally vetted by our team on the ground. We do not work through layers of administration — we work directly, in the communities we come from, with the people who need it most.
